The first part of the book offers a relational understanding of the groaning of creation, weaving together the physical, moral, and spiritual dimensions of the contemporary ecological crisis. The second part explores at length the origin and nature of these relational ruptures in terms of seven ecological sins. Kureethadam presents ecological sin as the rupture of our fundamental and constitutive relationships with God, with our brothers and sisters, and with Mother Earth. The third part of the book explores how the rupture of basic relationships caused by ecological sin can be repaired through a transformative journey of healing by following the path of ecological conversion.
