Klappentext
This authoritative text for those seeing patients with sexual dysfunction of predominantly psychosexual aetiology returns in an updated edition that builds on what clinicians found most useful in the previous editions. It provides background knowledge of physical and psychological treatments, along with principles of brief psychodynamic therapy and case examples applied to common problems. This new edition includes a weaving of the issue of consent throughout and adds four new chapters incorporating recent changes in perspective on matters of diversity:
Gender, sexuality and relationship diversity
Neurodiversity and sexual dysfunction
Religion / faith and sexual problems
Impact of race, racism and social construct on sexuality
