Mehr als ein Vierteljahrhundert, nachdem Elektra 1972 die erste LP mit Kleinoden aus der US-Pop-Ära von 1965 bis 1968 auf den Markt brachte, läßt das Rhino-Team um Produzent Bill Inglot diese Ära wieder aufleben, als die Rock-Szene Amerikas die "British Invasion" gerade verdaut hatte und Hunderte von Bands mit neuen "psychedelischen" Sounds experimentierten oder eine härtere Gangart wagten.
