Larry Crockett: My Wish on CD

Larry Crockett has drummed for the likes of Liz McComb, Eric Bibb, Sonny Landreth, Popa Chobby, and even Elton John! Hailing from New Jersey, Larry honed his chops with the much-respected Michael Carvin, well-known for his work with jazz greats Dizzy Gillespie and Freddie Hubbard.

Larry Crockett has performed on the world's most glorious stages, including the Blue Note, the Cotton Club, the Apollo and Madison Square Garden in New York, the Royal Albert Hall and the Wembley Stadium in London, the Palais des Congrès as well as the Olympia in Paris, and many others throughout Asia. The author of several drum instruction books, Larry often shares his valuable musical knowledge with students in seminars and masterclasses on both sides of the Atlantic.

In addition to his instrumental skills, Crockett is a talented composer and creator. His latest album, My Wish, is the expression of his contemporary musical views, a deft mix of relaxing soul / jazz with hints of lithe funk and playful hip-hop, complete with guest appearances by no less than Popa Chubby and Eric Bibb.
