Die Vorab-Single "Drinks After Work" seines gleichnamigen neuen Albums hat es sich bereits in den US-amerikanischen Radio-Charts bequem gemacht. Am 1. November 2013 lässt der Country-Titan Toby Keith dann sein 17. Studio-Album "Drinks After Work" folgen, auf dem sich neun weitere Songs befinden.
Wie gewohnt hat der Country-Star aus Nashville die Ärmel hochgekrempelt und “Drinks After Work“ quasi im Alleingang geschrieben und produziert – mit Ausnahme des Titelsongs, für dessen Tantiemen sich die Nashville-Songschreiber Natalie Hemby, Luke Laird und Barry Dean ein paar Drinks genehmigen dürfen.
Weitere Mitstreiter und Co-Autoren von “Drinks After Work“ sind erneut Toby Keiths langjährige Weggefährten Scotty Emerick, Bobby Pinson und Rivers Rutherford.
