„Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland“ wurde im April während ihrer ausgiebigen Time Machine Welttournee in der „Quicken Loans Arena“ in Cleveland aufgezeichnet. Es ist das erste Livealbum der Band, das in den USA aufgenommen wurde – und ein bewusster Dank an die erste Stadt, die Rush damals im Radio gefeatured hat.

Auf dieser so erfolgreichen Tour spielten sie ein Set gespickt mit Klassikern, Publikumslieblingen und sogar einem Vorgeschmack auf das anstehende 20. Studioalbum „Clockwork Angels“. Das Herzstück bildete das Hitalbum „Moving Pictures“, das sie – erstmals in ihrer langen Karriere – komplett spielten. Lobeshymnen für diese Tour gab es wie Sand am Meer, so z. B. vom „The Hollywood Reporter“, der feststellte: “the current Time Machine jaunt is nothing less than a must see…for nearly three hours, with intermission, Rush proved why it remains among rock’s elite live acts.”

Rush’s “Time Machine” shows in 2010 / 11 were one of the most anticipated tours ever. Celebrating 30 years since the 1981 release of their classic bestselling album “Moving Pictures” the band performed the entire album live for the first time as the centrepiece of the concerts. The shows also featured favourite tracks from across their lengthy career and two new songs expected to feature on their next studio album. As ever the concerts were a visual feast and sounded great with the band playing at the top of their form.
