Edsel is proud to commence its programme to issue the ten albums that Leo Sayer recorded for the Chrysalis label between 1973 and 1983, in five packages. Leo achieved massive sales around the world, racking up two US # 1 hits, ten UK Top 10 singles and six UK and US Top 10 albums.

· Managed and produced by Adam Faith and David Coutrney, and with the patronage of The Who’s Roger Daltrey, Leo burst on to the scene in 1973 making a memorable first TV appearance on the Old Grey Whistle Test.

· First single “The Show Must Go On” reached # 2 in December 1973, followed by his debut album “Silverbird” which also peaked at # 2. Follow-up singles “One Man Band” (# 6) and “Long Tall Glasses” (UK # 4, US # 9), preceded second album “Just A Boy” (October 1974), which reached # 4 in the UK and # 16 in the US.

· There are two bonus tracks per album: a recording by Leo’s previous band, a single b-side, and two outtakes. The booklet features brand new sleeve notes by Leo himself for each album, as well as photos from his own collection.
