Amnesty International wird anlässlich seines 50. Geburtstag ein Album veröffentlichen, wo viele der weltweiten Musik-Talente Bob Dylan Songs interpretieren werden wie z. B. Adele, Patti Smith, Pete Townshend; Kesha, The Gaslight Anthem, Sting, Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, Sinead O'Conor u. a. Das Album besteht aus 4 Tonträger mit 73 Songs. Alle Künstler haben sich unentgeltlich zur Verfügung gestellt.

Das Album wurde von Jeff Ayeroff and Julie Yannatta produziert und ist das Nachfolgeprojekt zu Instant Karma (VÖ 2007), wo es um die Rettung von Dafur ging, an dem u. a. U2, Green Day, R. E.M., Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilira, Jack Johnson, The Flaming Lips beteiligt waren.

AI ist eine Nobelpreis-Träger Organisation, mit über 3 Mio Unterstützern in mehr als 150 Ländern, die sich für Menschenrechte weltweit einsetzen. In den 50 Jahren seit Amnesty International gegründet wurden, haben sie Zehntausende von Gefangenen in die Freiheit verholfen, Folterkammern geschlossen, Gesetze und Verträge verhandelt um die Freiheit und die Würde von Millionen Menschen zu schützen und Hinrichtungen gestoppt. AI hat gezeigt, das unsere gemeinsamen Bemühungen eine bessere Welt aufbauen können.
