He began his solo career in 1977 with the release of ‘The Geese and the Ghost’.

‘Slow Dance’ was originally released in September 1990 and was the last of his albums to be released on vinyl. It came out on Virgin Records and was described at the time as “a masterpiece of progressive rock music”.

‘Slow Dance’ is right on the edge of Classical music. It nevertheless remains an album of inspired themes, grandiose playing and is considered to be an extremely underrated album.

The sound of the alum is timeless, capturing many style elements which were used to create a romantic mood.
