Das Cuarteto SolTango steht für authentischen Tango mit orchestralem Klang und kammermusikalischem Esprit. In der einzigartigen Besetzung Violine, Violoncello, Bandoneon und Klavier schlägt es die Brücke zwischen dem argentinischen Tango der Goldenen Ära und kammermusikalischer Konzerttradition. Tangos der Ikonen Aníbal Troilo, Juan D’Arienzo, Lucio Demare bis hin zu den Wegbereitern des Tango Nuevo, Horacio Salgán und Osvaldo Pugliese, erklingen in kunstvoller Instrumentierung durch Martin Klett. Mit Stücken aus den Vierziger-, Fünfziger- und Sechzigerjahren (und einem Bonus-Track) von Gerardo Matos Rodríguez, Alfredo Gobbi, Rosita Melo, Vicente Greco u. v. a. begibt sich das Quartett auf eine neue Misión Tango.
