Die Alben »In the Court Of The Crimson King«, »In the Wake of Poseidon«, »Lizard« und »Islands« enthalten die neuen Mixe, die von Steven Wilson und Robert Fripp 2009 und 2010 für die 40th Anniversary Editions produziert wurden. Diese Mixe sind nun zum ersten Mal auch auf Vinyl zu hören.
Die beiden Bonus LPs enthalten seltene Aufnahmen, von denen viele ebenfalls von Steven Wilson gemischt wurden und bis auf die Single »Catfood« zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl zu hören sind. »The Alternative Guide To King Crimson« ist in einem Gatefold Cover mit einem Artwork untergebracht, das ursprünglich für die 1975er Compilation »The Young Person’s Guide To King Crimson« entworfen wurde.
