»Meddle« ist der sechste Longplayer von Pink Floyd. Das Album erschien ursprünglich am 30. Oktober 1971 und gilt gemeinhin als die musikalische Weiterentwicklung Pink Floyds vom Psychedelic Rock zum Artrock.
Das Album feierte große Erfolge und erreichte in Großbritannien Platz 3 der Albumcharts. In den USA erhielt »Meddle« Doppelplatin.
Die Songs entstanden überwiegend in Zusammenarbeit von Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason und Richard Wright. Aufgenommen wurde »Meddle« zwischen Januar und August 1971 in den Air Studios, den Abbey Road Studios und den Morgan Studios.
