Für das Album suchte der Bluessänger mit dem gefühlvollen Bariton die Unterstützung von Bruce Katz (Piano), Kevin Barry (Gitarre), Michael Rivard (Bass) und Lorne Entress (Schlagzeug). Wer die Ohren spitzt, hört McClain während der Aufnahme leise lachen, wenn es gerade richtig gut läuft.
