The Turn Of A Friendly Card
The Blu-ray Audio Disc (also Pure Audio Blu-ray) is technically a normal Blu-ray Disc and can be played on any Blu-ray player. However, it does not contain any video content. The high storage capacity is used for high-resolution audio data (stereo and surround, up to 24 bit/192 kHz). It is operated either without a screen like a conventional CD or via the onscreen menu like a normal Blu-ray disc.

Inspiriert von der Zeit, in der sowohl Eric Woolfson als auch Alan Parsons in Monte Carlo gelebt hatten, wurde dieses legendäre Album in Paris aufgenommen. An den Aufnahmen waren Musiker wie Ian Bairnson (Gitarre), David Paton (Bass) und Stuart Elliott (Schlagzeug) beteiligt, während Eric Woolfson die Keyboards spielte und zusammen mit Elmer Gantry, Chris Rainbow und Lenny Zakatek den Gesang beisteuerte. The Turn Of A Friendly Card» wurde zu einem der meistverkauften Alben des Alan Parsons Project und erreichte in vielen europäischen Ländern und in den USA Goldstatus. Das Album enthielt klassische Kompositionen wie »Games People Play«, »Time«, »The Gold Bug« und die Suite »The Turn Of A Friendly«, die die zweite Seite des Albums dominierte.
