Im Jahr 1986 veröffentlichte Telarc diese Einspielung aus der Watford Town Hall in London. André Previn und das Royal Philharmonic Orchestra fegen mit großer Spielfreude und enormer dynamischer Bandbreite durch die Sternenbilder Gustav Holsts. Freunde von bombastischen Orchesterwerken mit enormem Druck im Tieftonbereich kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Aufgenommen wurde komplett digital mit einem modifizierten Sony PCM 1610 Recorder unter Verwendung von Schoeps MK2 und MK4 Mikrofonen.
