Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Prokofjews siebte Klaviersonate spielt er sanft, ja zurückhaltend, erst am Schluss donnert er ungehemmt los. Für die Zugabe hat er drei Chopin-Stücke, darunter die ›Grande Valse‹ – ausgewählt, bei denen er inbrünstig die Emotionen hervorkehrt: ›Chopins Kompositionen dringen einfach tiefer in meine Seele ein als jede andere Musik.‹ «
