Product Information

Cantate Domino ist die wohl bekannteste Aufnahme von kirchlicher Musik in der Welt der audiophilen Musikhörer. Es dürfte kaum jemanden geben, der keine der diversen Versionen dieses legendären Mitschnitts der Konzerte in der Oscarskyrhan in Stockholm hat. Auf einer Revox A-77 Bandmaschine mit nur zwei Mikrofonen aufgezeichnet bieten die Aufnahmen von 1976 ein höchstmaß an Rauminformation und Natürlichkeit.

Die K2 HD Version wurde von den Originalbändern neu abgemischt und übertrifft in der Qualität die bekannte XRCD Version deutlich. Frühere Version auf normaler CD klingen geradezu defekt. Selten ist der fortschritt druch K2 HD Mastering so deutlich gewesen wie hier. Dirigent Torsten Nilsson gebietet über den Oscar Motet Choir, Alf Lindner an der Orgel und Marianne Mellnäs als Sopranistin. Titel
