Produktinfo

Grigory Sokolov ist ein Pianist von außergewöhnlichem Imaginationsreichtum, niemals nachlassender Spielfreude und Verve. Er wurde weltbekannt, nachdem er als 16-Jähriger 1966 in Moskau den ersten Preis beim Tschaikowsky-Wettbewerb für Klavier erhielt. Dieser Auszeichnung folgten zahlreiche und sehr erfolgreiche Konzertreisen durch Europa, die USA und nach Japan, in denen er seinen Ruf als einer der besten Pianisten unserer Zeit aufbaute.

Sokolov ist mit den bedeutendsten Orchestern aufgetreten und spielt regelmäßig im Saal des Wiener Musikvereins, im Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, im Herkulessaal in München und in weiteren renommierten Konzertsälen. Seine Konzerte fanden sowohl bei der Kritik als auch beim Publikum höchsten Anklang.
