Biografie (Andreas Willi)

Andreas Willi, geboren 1972 in Altstätten, studierte Klassische Philologie, Slavistik und Vergleichende Sprachwissenschaft in Basel, Lausanne, Fribourg und an der University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), bevor er 2001 in Oxford mit der Arbeit «The Languages of Aristophanes: Aspects of Linguistic Variation in Classical Attic Greek» promovierte und sich 2007 an der Universität Basel mit der vorliegenden Studie im Fach Klassische Philologie habilitierte. Seit 2005 ist er Diebold Professor of Comparative Philology an der University of Oxford
