Ursprünglich im August 2006 auf Sub Pop veröffentlicht ist “The Body, The Blood, The Machine” das dritte Album der Band. Das Album hat sich bisher insgesamt 29.000 Mal verkauft und dieses Re-Issue sorgt dafür, dass das Vinyl nach Jahren der Dürre wieder zu haben ist.
„The Body, The Blood, The Machine“ wurde in den Supernatural Sound Studios mit Brendan Canty (Fugazi) aufgenommen. Nachdem Hudson 2005 als Drummer ausstieg, teilten Foster und Harris den Job um Bass, Gitarre und Gesang auf: Foster leistete Doppelschichten hinter dem Schlagzeug, während Harris sang und alle Gitarrentracks einspielte. Beide kümmerten sich um den Einsatz von Keyboard und Orgel.
