Rolling Stone 3/06: "Es war der 27. März 1994, und "OK Computer" war noch nicht in Sicht. Es war die Zeit vor dem großen Wurf, vor all dem Lob. Eine einfachere, gemütlichere Zeit. Radiohead waren noch eine richtige Rockband, deren blondgefärbter Sänger in simplen Sätzen zum Publikum spricht. Dabei singt Thom Yorke so markerschütternd, dass man sogar "Creep" immer wieder hören will, auch "My Iron Lung", "Just" und das etwas alberne "Anyone Can Play Guitar". So dringlich, so direkt klangen Radiohead nur noch manchmal beim berühmten nächsten Album, danach nie wieder. Es war eine Zeit, in der noch andere Maßstäbe galten - weniger Kunst, mehr Instinkt."
