Let there be sound! Noisecore, Minimal Electro, Freejazz, alles geht, wenn diese beiden Bands zusammenkommen. Indem sie von Stil zu Stil hüpfen, ignorieren The Notwist und das 20-köpfige Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra alle Genregrenzen, finden ihren Weg durch polymorphe Klanglandschaften, wild und wunderschön. Von den Aufnahmen zum 2008er-Notwist-Album "The Devil, You + Me" über die gemeinsamen Proben in Berlin bis hin zu Konzerten in Hamburg, Amsterdam und München sind diese verwandten Seelen dabei, zu improvisieren und ihre Arrangements und Soundmuster ständig neu zu überdenken. So als wollten sie die Songs in steter Bewegung halten. Und der Film von Jörg Adolph reflektiert in seiner Machart diesen Sound. Er spielt mit einer Art rauen Virtuosität, die leicht, aber dennoch sehr konzentriert daherkommt. "Music No Music" dokumentiert aber auch junge Musiker, jenseits des Superstarruhms am Ende des ersten Jahrzehnts des dritten Jahrtausends. Die limitierte Ausgabe des Films erscheint mit einem 60-seitigen, farbig bebilderten Fotobuch.
