Für ‘Blue’, ursprünglich 1996 veröffentlicht, konnte man immerhin die raren, nur in Deutschland veröffentlichten Bonustracks ‘Perfect Sunrise’ und ‘Coming Home’ (Godlike Version) für das brandneue Remaster verbuchen. Die neue Version enthält die damalige Single ’Coming Home’, die Linernotes stammen ebenfalls von Tim Jones.

Formed in 1986 by Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams when they left the Sisters Of Mercy, The Mission enjoyed a succession of hit albums and singles through the second half of the 80s and the first half of the 90s.
“Blue”, released in June 1996, was the band’s seventh album, and the last release before a four year hiatus. It featured the single “Coming Home” and this release now contains its b-sides as bonus tracks, originally only issued in Germany.
The CD booklet now contains all the lyrics, as well as brand new annotation by Tim Jones of Record Collector.
