Product Information
When, in 1974, it was decided to reform The Flying Burrito Brothers after a two-year hiatus, original members Sneaky Pete Kleinow (steel) and Chris Ethridge (bass) knew that they should have some big names along for the ride. So in came ex-Byrds drummer and singer Gene Parsons, ex- Canned Heat singer and guitarist Joel Scott Hill and ex-Swampwater fiddler and singer Gib Guilbeau. The band clicked and interestingly was much closer in spirit to the first Flying Burrito Bros than the previous Rick Roberts-led line-ups as can be heard on this live in the studio recording from 1976. These Burritos were ready to rock and they did it well. The songs range from Burrito classics to then-new songs from the LP 'Flying Again' to country standards. A necessary addition to any serious Burrito or Byrds collection.
