Die drei Jungs sind arbeiten konsequent an ihrer einzigartigen Vision einer rein akustischen Dance-Musik, "die sich anhört als hätte man Steve Reich und Theo Parrish auf einen Nenner gebracht" (Groove Magazin). Daniel Brandt und Jan Brauer hatten sich schon in der Jazz Big Band ihrer Schule kennen gelernt und gründeten später das Projekt "Scott", mit dem sie Jazz-inspirierte Clubmusik machen. Paul Frick hat Komposition bei Friedrich Goldmann an der Universität der Künste Berlin studiert. Schon bald veröffentlichten sie EPs auf Tartelet Records. Ihr Debütalbum ist nun das bisher eindrucksvollste und vielseitigste Ergebnis ihrer Zusammenarbeit. Für den epischen, polymetrischen House-Track Bop haben Daniel Brandt und Julian Schleef ein spektakuläres Video gedreht, in dem das Stück von einem 11-köpfigen Ensemble performt wird, begleitet von Ballerinas. Das Bop-Video hat sich im Internet weit verbreitet und wurde u. a. schon von Kanye West auf seinem Blog gepostet.

Brandt Brauer Frick are three young musicians who have joined together for an exciting acoustic techno project. Daniel Brandt and Jan Brauer, who as a duo named 'Scott' produce club music with a jazz attitude and Paul Frick, who has studied classical and modern composition with Friedrich Goldmann at Universität der Künste Berlin. After releasing EPs on Tartelet Records and their self-founded labels Doppelschall and The Gym, their debut album 'You Make Me Real' on !K7 is most intense manifestation of their unique chemistry so far.
