‘We just love to strut our stuff!’......That’s the theme tune of a band having a ball. Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings launch into another cavalcade of jazz and blues standards from the 1930s and 1940s with tremendous zeal and enthusiasm. The all-star line up has Georgie Fame, Albert Lee, Peter Frampton and Eric Clapton among the soloists. The band - equipped with a splendid brass and rhythm section - play Wyman’s favourite kind of music with such authenticity, that it sounds more like the originals than a ‘cover’. Superbly produced and performed, this is more than a tribute to past glories; it’s a celebration everyone should join.
