Long before Kevin Bacon (who was starring in films like “Flatliners”, ”Footloose”, “Mystic Rivers”, “Apollo 13 “ and .., just recently in the new movie of X-Men and the Love Story “Stupid Crazy Love”) launched his prolific stage and screen career, and before Michael Bacon became known as a “go-to” composer for film and television, they were just two brothers, born nine years apart, coming of age in Center City, Philadelphia.

“Philadelphia Road – The Best Of” is the first Best Of compilation of The Bacon Brothers, which reflects the musical work of Kevin and Michael Bacon from the last 15 years. The Best Of contains 18 original Tracks plus one guest performance with the Bellamy Brothers.

The record, is laden with the brothers’ trademark gritty rock and a touch of Philly soul, and harkens back to those roots in the City of Brotherly Love, when life was less complicated and music filled the air.
