Ultra HD Blu-ray

As the successor to the Blu-ray Disc, the Ultra HD Blu-ray is an optical data storage device for movies in ultra-high definition format. The eponymous Ultra HD resolution is a maximum of 3840 × 2160 pixels. In contrast to its predecessor, it also supports a higher contrast range, a higher refresh rate and a larger color space. Normal Blu-ray players cannot play the new media. Ultra HD Blu-ray-capable devices are usually backward compatible.

Blu-Ray Disc

The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.

Seit er vor 40 Jahren mit einer brutalen Mordserie die amerikanische Kleinstadt Haddonfield terrorisierte, sitzt Michael Myers abgeschottet von der Außenwelt, in einer psychiatrischen Anstalt in Haft. Als er zusammen mit anderen hochgefährlichen Insassen verlegt werden soll, passiert die Katastrophe: Der Gefangenentransport verunglückt nachts auf offener Straße und ermöglicht ihm die Flucht. Angetrieben von seinem bestialischen Drang zu morden, macht sich Myers auf nach Haddonfield und der entsetzliche Alptraum beginnt für die Bewohner aufs Neue. Nur Laurie, die dem maskierten Killer seinerzeit nur knapp entkommen konnte, ist vorbereitet, sich dem personifizierten Bösen entgegenzustellen...
