About the film
Kaum ist Hauptkommissar Frank Thiel nach seiner Versetzung aus Hamburg bei der Kripo Münster angekommen, hat er zwei Fälle am Hals. Während Jennifer Müller ihre Mutter als vermisst meldet, wird im Hochmoor die Leiche eines weiblichen Teenagers gefunden, die dort 20 Jahre lang konserviert war. Thiel und sein neuer Kollege Professor Karl-Friedrich Boerne finden tragische Zusammenhänge zwischen den beiden Fällen heraus. Der Schlüssel zur Lösung liegt in einem alten Geheimnis der ehrwürdigen Familie Alsfeld.
