About the film
Für Sam (Josh Radnor), einem New Yorker Autor Mitte zwanzig, läuft momentan nichts nach Plan -weder seine Karriere noch sein Liebesleben. Das zufällige Aufeinandertreffen mit einem Pflegekind bringt zusätzliche Unordnung in das Leben des verantwortungs-und beziehungsängstlichen Sam. Doch als er die Nachtclub-Bedienung „Mississippi“ (Kate Mara) trifft, ist es um ihn geschehen und aus einem One-Night-Stand wird mehr, als Sam je gehofft oder gefürchtet hätte. Nun, mit einem Kind an der Backe und einer Frau, die er kaum kennt, in seinem Leben und in seiner Wohnung, gerät Sams Leben völlig aus dem Ruder….
