"Recycle Or Die", sprach Nils Petter Molvær, als er 2001 sein Album "Solid Ether" zu "Recoloured" remixen ließ. Die Affinität einiger der Künstler (unter anderem Funkstörung, Bill Laswell und Matthew Herbert) zu seinem Material war dabei so groß, daß Nils Petter Molvær sie unlängst darum bat, auch Titel seines neuen Albums "NP3" zu bearbeiten. Außer ihnen haben Mark De Clive-Lowe, Bugge Wesseltoft und Raymond Pellicer (der die Bass-Loops auch auf dem "NP3"-Original programmiert hatte) die kontrastierenden Klangbilder von Molværs essenzieller dritter CD in neue Sound-Strukturen umformuliert.
