1960 and '61, Hank Mobley made four albums with fellow Miles Davis Bandmates Wynton Kelly and Paul Chambers. Soul Station, Roll Call, and Workout had become hailed as the high points of his career (and they remain so). Mysteriously, the fourth session sat forgotten in the tape vaults until it was issued i 1986 as Another Workout. The quartet is competed by the amazing Philly Joe Jones. As magnificent as Mobley's reading of "I Should Care" is, it's impossible to pick favorites in the masterful album. The RVG Series consists of classic blue note albums newly remastered in 24-bit by the original engineer, legendary Rudy Van Gelder, with state-of-the-art equipment.
