The three musicians know very well how to interweave the different eras and genres with lightness to TRAUMSTOFF (dream fabric) – their debut album - sometimes close-meshed and tightly intertwining, sometimes lose and adventurous. BATIST are travellers in style crossing borders of Jazz, Classical Music to World Music with Latin influences. They deeply immerge into the abundance and variety of their very special sound. Barbara Bürkle and Steffen Hollenweger, singer and bassist from the jazz scene, and Tillmann Reinbeck, classical guitarist, create a sonorous, warm and richly coloured atmosphere with their chamber musical realisations of these songs.
