Bühnenbild und Kostüme beschwören in der Rekonstruktion durch Angelo Sala das Flair der Originalen Entwürfe von Alexandre Bnois herauf, welche dieser zu Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts für seine Arbeit mit Sergej Diaghilew und dessen »Ballets russes« kreiert hatte.
