Biografie

Lloyd Alexander, geb. 1924, arbeitete in den USA als Cartoonzeichner, Werbetexter, Grafiker und Übersetzer, bevor er begann, Geschichten zu schreiben. In Amerika wurde er mit der angesehenen Newbery Medal ausgezeichnet. 2001 erhielt Lloyd Alexander eine Ehrenauszeichnung für sein Lebenswerk.
