The Guide described it as "A magnificent, sprawling, expansive thing, recalling the most sumptuous excesses of Spiritualized or Flaming Lips - single of the week" while the NME said "Ready For You Now grows astoundingly quickly from droningly loopy Spacemen 3 Jesus-pop to grindingly heavy, head-numbing monster grooves that in simpler times would have had us reaching to the ceiling with, um, ecstasy" and The Fly exclaimed "Ace! The sound of Spacemen 3 and Suicide suffocating in Dandy Warhol dope smoke. The renaissance continues." And continue the renaissance does.
