Sein neues Album produzierte er gemeinsam mit dem Country-Singer-Songwriter Kenny Chesney (nach seiner Zusammenarbeit mit Ryan Adams erneut eine Überraschung). Der Titeltrack ist das Cover eines Kris Kristoffersen-Songs, und Nelson glänzt mit seiner Adaption von Bob Dylans »Gotta Serve Somebody«. Nelsons musikalisches Standing ist über die Jahrzehnte unangefochten geblieben, er hat von Ray Charles bis Waylon Jennings und Johnny Cash alle kommen und gehen sehen. Immer noch sitzt dem Mann der Schalk im Nacken und seine andauernde Präsenz im Musikbusiness ist einfach erstaunlich.
