From the time Tracy Byrd released the single Holdin Heaven he was flying. The record, from his eponymous debut album, went to No 1 in 1993 and over the next decade he scored more than 30 hits.

The two albums here are from the period when he joined RCA after a long spell at MCA; the switch rejuvenated his career.

It's About Time , mined a rich vein of songs and Ten Rounds , was back to good time country, with the single Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo topping the charts, Byrd's biggest hit since Holdin Heaven in 1993. Just Let Me Be in Love also hit the Top 10, while the anthemic Southern rocker A Good Way to get on My Bad Side a duet with old pal Mark Chestnutt became a country dancehall staple.
