Wie auch Bruce Springsteen gelten Southside Johnny als Teil der Jersey Shore-Musikszene. Mitte der 70er Jahre machte die Gruppe erstmalig auf sich aufmerksam. Die nun vorliegende Veröffentlichung beinhaltet ihre beiden Alben "I Don't Want To Go Home" (1976) und "This Time It's For Real" (1977) auf einer CD.
