Throughout his career Rory Gallagher was a frequent visitor to Germany and made several appearances on the famous German music TV series Rockpalast. This 3 DVD set features five full length concerts and two shorter jam sessions spanning the mid seventies up to a concert in 1990 just a few years before his death in 1995 at the age of just 47. It captures Rory in full on rocking performances alongside some great solo acoustic tracks. The set is a brilliant showcase for Rory’s scintillating guitar work (mostly on his trademark battered Fender Strat) and his distinctive bluesy vocals.
