Artists such as Lucinda Williams, Metallica, Jackson Browne, Alex Chilton, Mumford and Sons, and Bruce Springsteen all lend their voices to See My Friends. Davies traveled the world to collaborate with these artists, recording in Oslo with Metallica, in New Jersey to join up with Bruce Springsteen, and New York to record with Jon Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora.
