Product Information

Das Austin City Limit Musik Festival besteht seit 1976 und machte damit die Stadt bekannt als "Live Music Capital Of the World". Ursprünglich als Plattform für Western, Cajun und TexMex gedacht, entwickelte sich das vom TV landesweit ausgestrahlte Festival so enorm gut, dass auch Genres wie Jazz, Rock und Alternative dazu kamen.

Der 3. Januar 1987 wurde zu einem Meilenstein in der Geschichte des Festivals, als Johnny Cash die Bühne betrat und eine seiner, auch für ihn, besten Shows ablieferte. Hier stimmte alles: Ambiente, Spiellaune und Stimmung der Künstler!
