Adventures In Modern Recording, the deluxe reboot. The complete album remastered, plus all the B-sides and remixes of the era, and seven previously-unreleased demos.

Hand-picked by Trevor Horn, the demos include Videotheque (which Trevor would later produce for Dollar) and We Can Fly From Here, parts 1 and 2 (which Buggles originally wrote for Yes, and was performed on their legendary Drama tour).

Expanded artwork includes new liner notes and interviews, rare photos and single sleeves.

A flop on first release, the final Buggles album is ripe for rediscovery.

By 1981, Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes had completed a short-lived stint as a members of Yes and were busy falling out.

Adventures... Buggles’ second album sees Horn dominant, with Downes appearing on just four tracks. Throughout, there is an air of bemusing electro-prog intelligence married with a truly postmodern genre-hopping aesthetic. There’s electro-pop, harmony vocals, key signature changes, incongruous blasts of synthetic trumpet and boogie woogie piano and swing... and that’s just on one song, Vermillion Sands. Less frentic, and more poetic, is the reinvention of Yes’s Into The Camera, while the title track is a great lost single. With 10 bonus tracks (including an early version of Videotheque, a hit in 1982 for Dollar), this is an intriguing glimpse into the production sound that would come to dominate an era.
