21 Jahre nach ihrem Debütalbum „Leisure" aus dem Jahr 1991 ist auf Grund der enormen Nachfrage das Gesamtwerk von Blur für ein von der Band persönlich ediertes Box-Set aufbereitet worden. Es wird unter dem Titel „Blur 21: The Box" am 27. Juli 2012 erscheinen.Neben den kompletten sieben Studioalben enthält das Set über fünfeinhalb Stunden an unveröffentlichtem Material inklusive 65 bislang unveröffentlichter Songs und mehr als doppelt so vieler Raritäten, desweiteren drei DVDs, die „Collector's Edition" eines Buchs mit seltenen und bis dato unveröffentlichten Fotos und mit einem exklusiven Interview mit der Band sowie eine spezielle, limitierte Vinylsingle von Seymour, der ersten gemeinsamen Band der Blur-Musiker. Das Box-Set beinhaltet zudem einen Digital Code zum Download aller Alben und sämtlicher Bonus-Tracks.
Die imposante Song-Kollektion wurde von Graham Coxon und dem Produzenten Stephen Street überprüft, die ersten fünf Studioalben zusätzlich von Frank Arkwright in den Abbey Road Studios remastered.
Zu den Highlights des Box-Sets gehören unter anderem frühe Songentwürfe für das Album „Leisure", spartanische Demo-Versionen der Singleklassiker „For Tomorrow" und „Beetlebum", bisher unter Verschluss gehaltene Songs wie „Saturday Morning" und „Hope You Find Your Suburbs", unveröffentlichte Sessions mit Bill Laswell sowie die legendäre Session mit Andy Partridge von XTC. Zu den weiteren Raritäten gehören „Don't Bomb When You're The Bomb", „The Wassailling Song" und „Fool's Day", die nun erstmals auf CD erscheinen. Auf den DVDs befinden sich unter anderem „Live At Alexandra Palace 1994" und „Live At Wembley 'The Singles Night' 1999".
