In 1957 cornetist Rex Stewart gathered together a large group dominated by Fletcher Henderson alumni and the result is this excellent tribute. Not every selection was from Henderson's book but the four main jams ("Sugar Foot Stomp," "Honeysuckle Rose," "Wrappin' It Up" and "King Porter Stomp") both revisit past glories and, with the fresh solos of Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster, Buster Bailey, J.
