Eingespielt wurde es von einer All-Star Formation des Goodman Orchesters, mit von der Partie waren André Previn, Russ Freeman, Pepper Adams, Herb Geller, Leroy Vinnegar, Barney Kessel und Shelly Manne, ausserdem finden sich Quintett und zwei Quartett Stücke.

Als Bonus wurden einige neue Versionen sowie einige andere Stücke (inklusive drei zusätzliche Quintett Aufnahmen), die aus derselben Session stammen, hinzugefügt.

Diese CD vervollständigt das Album Happy Session (EJC 55472), das das restliche Material aus diesen Sessions beinhaltet.
