+ The Contortions
Recorded in 1980 in Paris, this live concert finds the Contortions in top musical form, also thanks to the better sound quality of these recordings. The mayhem usually caused by Chance's sax begins almost immediately, when the audience begins to recognize his take on Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough". The tracks that follow are some of the best renditions of Chance's repertoire, including his peculiarly own tribute to black funk with a cubist's interpretation of James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and "King Heroin". With this album, you'll own a terrific piece of history. For the first time on picture disc.
