We’ll be releasing the third album by GET WELL SOON, the brainchild of “German Wunderkind” (NME) Konstantin Gropper. The album features 13 new, opulent songs and is catchily entitled ‘The Scarlet Beast O’ Seven Heads - La Bestia Scarlatta Con Sette Teste’. If this is too Italian for your liking, wait til you hear the music. It’s at certain points a colourful and beautiful nod to the genre we know as ‘Italian Genre Cinema Music’. Think Nino Rota, or even more, Dario Argento.
Though these masters of the strange, wild and adventurous are just one of the 3, 227 inspirations that went into the making of this new masterpiece, Gropper himself points out: “To my new album, the average billionaire trustfund kid can happily cruise around the mountains atop Largo di Garda in his convertible, complete with trophy girlfriend in the passenger seat. But if he feels like it, he can also get off his medication and just go crashing through the barriers.“

,,... richtig opulente Pop-Elegien. Welt am Abgrund? Mit der Musik im Player gerne." (Stereo, September 2012)
(stereoplay, Oktober 2012)
