Produktinfo

Will-o'-the-Wisps in Town ist eine wunderbare und außergewöhnliche Märchen-Kantate, die der dänische Komponist Per Nørgård und die mit ihm befreundete Autorin Suzanne Brøgger gemeinsam auf der Grundlage von Andersens wenig bekanntem Märchen entwickelt und kreiert haben.

Im Zentrum der Kammerversion, die hier in Weltersteinspielung zu hören ist, steht die Sumpfhexe, die von der Mezzosopranistin Helene Gjerris interpretiert wird, die diese Rolle auch bei der Weltpremiere in Birmingham zum 200. Geburtstag von Andersen gesungen hat.

Die Bonus-DVD enthält eine 30-minütige Dokumentation über die Entstehung des Werkes.
