Product Information

Der 1743 in Italien geborene Luigi Boccherini (gest. 1805) komponierte hauptsächlich Kammermusik für Streichinstrumente. Diese ist auf den ersten 3 CDs der Edition zu finden.

CD1: Zwei Cellokonzerte mit dem auf historische Aufführungspraxis spezialisierten kanadischen Orchester Tafelmusik mit ihrer langjährigen musikalischen Leiterin Jeanne Lamon und Anner Bylsma am Cello auf historischen Instrumenten.

Die 2. CD ist eine Aufnahme mit Cello Sonaten und Fugen mit Anner Bylsma (Solo Cello), Kenneth Slowik (Cello) und Bob van Asperen (Fortepiano) und auf der dritten CD der Edition finden sich die Quintette Nr. 1, 2,3, 5 und 6 in einer (damaligen) Weltersteinspielung.

Die vierte CD ist das Stabat Mater für Sopran und Streicher und die beiden Streichquintette eingespielt von L´Archibudelli.
